Having a firsthand experience of being an inpatient at AHE, as well as a person with a vast medical background, not to mention someone with a heart, I think I can speak on behalf of all patients receiving "treatment" there when I say that the quality of care received by such patients from medical staff as nothing short of barbaric. To put it mildly, I have seen more respect and dignity afforded to rabid animals. In all of my life, I have never fathomed that health care professionals, let alone people in general, could be so crue especiallyl to people so in need of warmth, tenderness, and kindness. Not only were the staff mentally and emotionally abusive (with the exception of a select few), but cold and inhumane to boot. To even deem that place a hospital, is an overstatement of the century. That place's idea of treatment is to drug people into such a state of stupor that they become complacent. Their interests do not lie so much in helping people, as in studying them. They do not care about the ridding the problems of the individuals seeking treatment, but about minimizing the problems such individuals create for themselves and society. And the truly worst part about it all, is that the good majority of patients receiving care there are in such a bad state, they do not know the difference.
